dont worry, after 25+gb and a good ratio you'll be downloading everything.

Wow, must have changed that recently, 25GB is alot just to get past wait times. Most sites that have wait times require 10GB to get past it and then 25GB is for power user status.

Liable to scare away some.

But actually, pisexy is not one of those "first to get Star Wars sites" anyway. Just get your new stuff elsewhere and use Pisexy for the other stuff.

It's hard to match the selection and quaility they have. If I was new I'd stick with it.

a ive gotta agree with that....Pisexy is really good also if your lookin for DVD's they have a hefty selection of older dvd's that you cant find anywhere else. But as far as geting any of the new stuff, youve gotta stick with TorrentLeech or TorrentBytes, i dont what i would do without Leech...they really are hands down the best and fastest to upload site there is out right now....But still pick up a Pisexy account for some pretty cool stuff....you just have to wait a day to get anything new is the only thing!!!!

If I was new there I would be careful with my account. Sounds like they are gonna get real nasty to leechers and cheaters. Did you sign up for more then one account with the intent to leech and leave and switch? Sounds like that will probably get taken care of also.

Pisexy is a great site indeed, they have an impressive DVDR section too.
Definitely worth keeping a good ratio!

Pisexy is a brilliant site, only trouble is keeping your ratio up, the more you d/l the harder it is to get a good ratio.

I just happened to be looking throuh the FAQ and wait times are only effective for people with less the 10GB or less then .9 ratios. Pretty standard stuff.

25GB is for PowerAbuser status.

Waste of time. They have a few high quality torrents but such a small population and such restrictive ratio related rules that it is difficult for a normal speed user to acquire and maintain a decent ratio. Everything they have is available elsewhere.

What do you call a 'normal speed user'?

I now have 2meg Ntl but had no problems with ratio etc when on 750k. I am not exactly a heavy downloader either I just leave the torrents open until I get around 1.7 or so....they usually get there eventually.

They did, users were given plenty of warning to get their ratios up and were even given double upload rate for a couple of weeks, only the very lowest ratios lost their accounts.

I am a member of PiSexy but recently for last 2 weeks I have not been able to connect to the site I keep getting the "404 The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable" error. I've had this error before last year and my account was deleted due to inactivity on pisexy, then one day I was able to connect but I had no account (and they closed sign ups). Now the error has returned and I dont know what to do.

My ISP is rogers, and I am not running any IP blocking software.
what can I do?

The site works okay for me too.

Try using a proxy in your browser, or use an anonymiser (http://proxify.com/) to access the site.

If you can get there with either method, it means that the issue is IP related.

Not sure what you can do about that, perhaps email an admin there and ask what's up.

I did try the annonimizer site and the pisexy.org site worked *but I couldn't login because I had to register with the anonomizer site first). So I know I can connect when I use this site, and a mod from pisexy.org told me that the 404 error means I am not banned, 403 error means you're banned.

I have not idea what to do now.

vtzGotta be a problem at your end, I guess. Maybe to do with your IP number.

Give Rogers a ring and tell them that they need to change your IP - you don't need a reason, but if they ask and you feel like you gotta say something, say you're freaked out by some weird interweb guy who claims to be able to hack you.

By the way, the term 'sexy' in the Pisexy url may be the root of your problems, are you sure that there isn't some software on your PC that might be restricting your access to this site?

I had this same problem the last 2 weeks. It turns out something happened to my router (linksys) not sure what it was, but I did a reset (press the little button on the back) and now i can access pisexy.org. weird...hope it works for you. I could also connect if i did a direct connect from the modem to the pc.
