The power supply gurus at Enermax offer today's installment in the "Why would you need this much" department, the Galaxy series power supply, set to debut later this year offering a startling 1000 Watts of PC power. With trends leaning towards more power efficient processors and components, it's hard to imagine why anyone would need such a huge power supply unless you were running a RAID 10 array with dual 7800GTX's, but who's counting? To put this much power into perspective, a single 7800GTX, the fastest consumer card on the market, draws around 285 Watts of power under full load conditions.
