We want The Simpsons. :angry:Rain now - so it won't be long.

I've always considered you to be of a similar temperament to Boycott. Fairly surprised you don't share his love of the sound of leather on willow.

When are you going to admit that England are currently a better cricketing side than Australia. We're head and shoulders above you lot right now, I just hope that the results will go on to reflect England's superiority.

Great bowling from McGrath and Warne apart this series, our batsmen have got themselves out.

Peerzy

still 1 -1 and a drawn series is no good to you we will retain teh ashes

England dont have 2 good innings in them all aust need is a good 600 and england bowled out for 130 aust get the runs win last day easy :P

So Glenn McGrath so quit Cricket because of his age?

Adster
08-27-2005, 12:46 AM
no i don't mean that most of the players are getting old and will retire soon

as for Mcgrath look his 35 he cant bowl forever and hes starting to get some injuries now maybe his age is catching up to him??

Hayden IMO has been given far to many chances yes 3 years ago he was awsome but now he sux he cant handle good bowlers when he first came in he sucked average about 10 his first 10 tests couldn't play the west indies bowlers Ambrose Walsh

So should he give up when he becomes a certain age (say 36) or when he feels he's not good enough to make the team.

Adster
08-27-2005, 02:41 AM
depends few years ago he was thinking retiring for family reasons

maybe its his body?
maybe he wants to spend time with family
or he may not have it anymore (which isn't true hes still got it)

You Aussies really need better schooling, i can't make head from tail from anything you've said in the last 10 posts Adster, which might be why everyone ignores you

Adster
08-28-2005, 07:29 AM

Adster
08-28-2005, 11:54 AM

Peerzy
08-29-2005, 01:17 AM
Well we needed 9 runs and still have 3 batsmen left, never really got me as worried as when we only won by 2 runs.

Adster
08-29-2005, 04:12 AM

Kasper normally is a true number 11 batman that really sux!!!

Barbarossa

Ponting's in trouble today isn't he! :D

Whoops!

manker
08-30-2005, 10:00 AM
Ponting was fined 75% of his match fee - altho' I think what Katich did was worse.

Katich called some England fans 'A bunch of fucking pommie cunts'. -- substitute England fans for Pakistan fans and pommie for paki and he'd have been banned forever, methinks.

He was only fined 50% of his match fee for that.
