What do I need to record .avi to DVD

I downloaded Stewie:The Untold Story and I want to put it on a DVD, but it's an .avi file right now. What do I need to do to get it on a disc? Is there an easy way to convert it to an .iso? If so, I can do the rest from there.

ive never used it for converting to dvd but EasyXvideo conveter does it

hmmm...I get this error as soon as I click 'convert'. I tried it three times. Know of any other converters that will do what i want?

I've tried DVDSanta, EasyXVideo Converter, WinAVI, VSO xviDtoDVD all with various problems. I'm downloading NeroVision Express right now. I hope it works b/c this is pissing me off. :angry:

Open Nero Burning ROM >> Choose DVD on the drop down underneath where it says new compilation >> Choose DVD Video on the picture menu under that >> Click the New button on the right hand side.

Navigate to the folder containing your .ifo, .vob and .bup files using the right hand panel >> Highlight them all >> Drag and drop directly onto the red VIDEO_TS folder in the left hand panel.

Make sure you highlight and drap and drop all of the files into that red folder, double click the folder to check that they're all there.

Click the burn icon in the menu bar at the top >> Click the burn button on the new dialogue box that pops up.

That's it.

and it seems to work pretty well, it can also join up avi files into one....which is nice.

Well it sounds like your closer to success those are "Dvd-Video Files" conversion is done now all thats left is the burn.Hope you have good quality media and don't multi task when you burn...I even go so far as to set the firewall to block all and shut my Anti virus down when burning :)
