Someone help me please any famous player wear number 13 ? I had to pick a # for my son number 9 was taken and the only other large was 13 or 4 . Some kids told him 13 was unlucky

If it was hockey no problem , many Russian stars wore # 13 but checked Google for football or soccer numbers and I'm lost . :D

You could go for number 4.

Michael Ballack is the captin of the German international team.
13 is also William Gallas's number (who is french world cup winner and chelsea player)

Depends where he plays.

1 and 12 are usually the goalkeepers.

9 and 11 are strikers. 10 is for an attacking midfielder or playmaker. Playmakers are usually the most famous player in a team and make the most goals (Ronaldinho is a 10)

Man Utd's new winger, Ji-Sung Park, wears the 13.

Apparently it's not unlucky in S. Korea.

What a staggeringly random comment.

Does he wear his manutd top when playing internationals :ohmy:I don't know, this is his first international since he signed for Man Utd - maybe he'll wear it underneath his S. Korea shirt

Indeed, that would seem the sensible option.

Thank goodness we got that sorted out.

Stand easy.

Thank you for that , the thing is the boy plays all postions goal aswell . But he's a good passer and very unselfish so the coach's use him in the middle on defence or forward . I can't wait for the season to start. U11 now no offsides , 11 on the bigger field . :01: #13 it is he'll get over it on his first goal . :D

Don't think Dad will be able to do the lines anymore tho ,I think the league supplies them . I would 'nt want to call something wrong in a close game anyway.

Hey made me think we had 7 a side last year on the mini field , so wonder what the coachs will do ? Hope its not 5,4,1 like the English coach is thinking . :naughty:

here, 11 year olds play with 11 players. mostly coaches would play 3-4-3, this is because no kid likes to play defence

How true , my kid is a great goalie but you would have to bribe him to play the position .... :)
