Ok, I'm new at buying motherboards so I need a little help. I have a P4 processor and I need a new motherboard cause the one i'm running on right now is crap. http://www.aberdeeninc.com/abcatg/Sock478.htm - Plz check that site out and tell me which motherboard is the best out of all the ones listed.

Yeah, we need some more info

-What speed processor
-RAM type?
-What onboard hardware do you want (if any)(example:onboard sound)
-Price range?
-Case size (ATX, Mini ATX, Other) or computer model (you may not be able to just stick a motherboard in, compaq and gateway tend to be bastards about that, they make you use ONLY their hardware)
-Do you need/want AGP 8x
-Do you care about onboard sound quality?

Overall, I'd recommend any ASUS board as long as it fits your needs, I've owned a few myself, and have bought a few for friends, never had a problem, decent tech support, great waranty help, and awesome features

You can't go wrong with an abit or supermicro, they're fast and stable
