Been trying this program after a format , too lazy to install my old programs like NSW 2005, System Mech. 2005 , Reg Supreme and so on .

I like it combined with Ccleaner , has a few tools to change Win settings ,icons, a regcleaner . Was wondering what people thought of it . :)

Love it. Waiting for TuneUp Utilities 2006. It's only in German right now.

I used this tweaking application for awhile. Not really bad. I did have a few problems with the activation process. But nothing that eventually I could not overcome.

They seem to update the software frequently, similar to Nero. Never really made abit of difference performance-wise, however. One of the more useful tweaks about the program is it's ability to run unsigned .msstyle files. So it could essentially replace StyleXP if you are utilizing that also.

As for myself, I always thought that TuneUP seemed somewhat bloated. Quite a few utilities that either XP already had on it's own or items that seemed so trivial that you would never even think of being there. That might not necessarily be true, but it is just the impression that it left on me. I did appreciate how it could literally compete with/replace Norton Systemworks though. But in the end, I went WinXP Manager so far as my XP tweaking needs. Seemed the most stable of the applications covering this area. TweakXP Pro, I avoid like the plaque altogether.

Hmm I sued to use TuneUp Utilities 2004, until I ran across a site that rated the top 10/20 System Utilities and then discovered it wasn't up up there, and switched to the rank one Utility, Advanced System Optimizer...

But when the 2006 version of TuneUp Utilities comes out.. I think I will return and give it a try again... Since I did have a liking towards it before i made the switch.

I used to use it, but I found better programs.
"jv16 power tools+a weekly registry definitions update" is my current registry cleaner
"CCleaner" is my junk file cleaner
"TCPOptimize" gave me more internet speed that TuneUp's internet tweak btw.
"XP Power Toys" is good for those configurations XP lacks. "X-setup" for some hardcore tweaking.
and the others...Norton Antivirus, Diskeeper, Zonealarm, etc.
