Yv12 Codec

When playing some AVI's I get the following error message in media player :-

The YV12 codec is required to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help.

After it tries to download a codec without sucess it proceeds to play the movie fine. Anyone know why this is and how to get rid of the error ?

List your player, codecs, and system spec. Also, list the movie filename, filesize, etc. If you're using WMP, auto codec download is not bulletproof. I recommend removing you old codecs and use K-Lite Codec Pack (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm#kazaa) exclusively. It has just about every codec you'll ever need.
