Very nice. Why don't you just play what you like?

the majority isn't punk or ghetto. and the majority won't even listen to the radio anyway. lol i need some good music. not the kind of overplayed crap on most radio stations.

likes here's what our 1st playlist might consist of:
-journey
-killers
-some oakie (paul oakenfold)
-maybe some rem
-some coldplay
-etc

and then, the next week, some more modern stuff

and i'm gonna make a site. something like http://go.to/whsd
where u can go and make song requests.

don't know those 2. but i'll look into them.

i'll be using my iriver h320 a lot now. :w00t:

i'm considering playing some small local bands' songs

i know this great band in uk called Cadence. they wanted me to make a music video for them. they're pretty damn good

anyone here know any small time bands that are good? we want to play something different than the stuff polluting the airwaves these days

Because I am bored, here is my current playlist.

David Bowie - Velvet Goldmine, Hang Onto Yourself, Space Oddity
Brian Eno - Here He Comes, Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch
Janis Joplin - Me and Bobby McGee, Down On Me
Elvis Costello - (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding
The Prodigy - Hotride (PoJ Masta remix)
Brazilian Girls - Sire nes de la Fete, Corner Store

I'm sure some of those selections would go over well with your audience.

You'll be struggling to find bleeped versions of all the songs you want. You'd be quicker adding the beeps yourself with a sound editing program.

that's wat i'm afraid of. i'm 17, and i don't like that rubbish. linkin park isn't that great. blink 182 sucks! green day's decent. ..... i'm thinking alternate the music, like classics, and the new crap, and some classics

yeah I know I'm not saying you like that rubbish lol just the majority of teenagers that age in thats the problem you can't always just play what you like

I have to play easy listening show early in mornings for 70s 80s year old so thats 1930 1940s music lol not very exciting at all!!

 lmao poor u. u get paid right? we don't get paid for our weekly 2 hr show. lol

the school wants us to play a variety. so basically i'm just looking for good songs. doens't really matter when they're from.

after college applications are done, i'm gonna set up a site where listeners can request songs. that would be fun
