Getting pretty tired of them, they don't load and prevent pics loading because of waiting for them.
2 this morning

e0.extreme-dm.com

b.bluetime.com

The bluetime seems to cause many probs, going to make a post and clicking the world button to make a link or a smilie and the page jumps, why? because it's still waiting for the poxy advert.

Ok you prolly need ads to help pay for the running or whatever, but if you're gonna have ads then wouldn't it be better to have ones that don't interfere with the running of the board?

This has actually been a prob for a while but has pissed me off this morning, it's not my browser either and yes I can block them but I shouldn't have to.

Just my penny's worth..

:P

My point being why allow adverts to affect your site? if the ad doesn't run properly and causes problems then it should be removed.

I've got the same problem - if I block them I can get the pages to finish loading, but I get an error loading page message at the bottom of the screen. If I unblock them, I don't get the error, but I can't use any of the buttons. This has been happening off and on for months. Didn't realize until you mentioned it that it was the ads not loading, since I rarely take notice of them.

I already read the whole post.

You are whining about a problem. Busyman and I present you with a solution.

You don't like our solution, and so keep on whining. :frusty:

If you like adverts, then don't block them, and put up with the delay.

If you don't like adverts, then put the following lines in your HOSTS file:

127.0.0.1 b.bluetime.com
127.0.0.1 b2.bluetime.com
127.0.0.1 e0.extreme-dm.com

Either way, just please stop whining...??? ;)

@nikkid - I don't get any page loading errors... Weird?

Sometimes I get an error message in the bottom left of my browser but I ignore it 'cause it doesn't affect my browsing in the least. :ermm:

I've noticed it recently too. It sometimes takes ages to load the ads, and until its done, I can't click smilies when I am posting....which is a pain.
