What opens a REC file? [Archive]

I downloaded a movie of a CPL match and i was wondering what opens a REC file? All my players didnt open it.

Ive seen that long ago in Windows 3.11 as Windows Recorder Macro.
More recently something to do with Real Player One on .rec.1 files perhaps...
