Likely you can get them through IRC.

Well, sorta. Advanced computer users out there rip the games, then they zip it up, and post it anonymously to the newsgroups. Then users like you or I, we download the files, unzip them, and burn 'em to disk. Some users unzip them and share them on kazaa, emule, and every other p2p out there. Eventually, the files get to you. This hasn't changed in years. It has been this way as long as I've been downloading warez/mp3s/etc, about 7 years, probably much longer.

It's not hard to learn IRC. Go look in the net. It will take you about 10 minutes to learn.

IRC isn't hard to learn, though it isn't very user-friendly, either. Your IRC client will either add to or lessen the overall ease of use. I dislike it for many reasons. ;) I've never liked it, come to think about it.
