File is Hidden After Being Unrared.

Anyone know why a file would become hidden after it was unrared?

The files were .avi and .mkv and after unraring them, they became hidden. My only question is: What causes them to do this?

The person that rar'ed it up, set its attributes to hidden before they rar'ed it.

Why would someone do that?
