The black album, with the snake, was their last good one. Enter Sandman and that.

Their version of "whiskey in the jar" was somewhat acceptable, but they spoiled any enjoyment I might have gotten out of listening to their music with their opinions on p2p and such.

All I can think of now, when I hear their songs, is how they've become cawks.

Too many to list

-Blackened
-And Justice for All
-Eye of the beholder
-One <---masterpiece
-Battery
-Master of Puppets
-Seek and Destroy

those songs automatically spring to mind when I think Metallica.

And as Adster said, black album is what turned them into the money mongering whores they have become today, quite sad really.

Enter Sandman is still an alright song but I don't listen to it that much at all, I'll stick to the old skool metallica :)

i know that song, too. and if u think metallica is not tense, then try queens of the stone age or kyuss for a change. being able to play slow doesnt mean they dont just sweat like hell to put that music together.

En francais? Explain that a bit better I don't understand. Either way metallica is not tense at all, just good music. Stay away from death metal music, cuz if you think metallica is tense, lol i dont wanna know what your face would look like if you heard something from say Cradle of Filth.
