For me it isn't which one is the best, it's the one most of my friends use... Almost everyone I know uses AIM, so I'm stuck with AIM... and I'm not too fond of Trillian. =/

Same for me. I hate aim but everyone uses it. MSN is DE BEST!

I'd say GAIM, buit it's not on the list, so MSN (once patched and rid of all the advertising shit).

I use both AIM and messenger. Everyone uses AIM/AOL so I use it more. msn is so slow with file transfers and I don't care for the whole email address as the username. I don't know why they do it that way.
