View Full Version : Antivirus/firewall software - Least system resourses.
I have a old computer with Winme (Winme will drive you insane) and I have pandaware antivirus/firewall but it slows my computer alot.Does anyone happen to know what antivirus/firewall software uses the least system resourses?
Oh, no.
There's really no getting around the difficulties presented by WinMe.
Something with manual updating would be best, I'd think...
Look at the variety of free versions available and pick the one with the best rep?
I guess I'll try AVG. Is lunix better then Winme?

NOD32 is the way to go....but you know you can get winxp pro free...
I don't think my computer can handle it.

I know absolutely nothing whatsoever about Linux.
Yes, it is better (by FAR) than WinMe.
BTW-
The Canuck is right about NOD32-forgot that one.
I think XP is more forgiving than you might think, but you need a bit of RAM.
What have you got?
