View Full Version : So is it too good to be true?

My only experience with file-sharing has been with music. Until today, I've never tried downloading programs.

So I've downloaded Office XP Professional from Limewire only to discover that the file was corrupted and could not be installed. And I tried downloading Photoshop CS 2 and the same thing happened.

And all this happened after I waited for hours for the programs to download.

Is this a common occurrence when downloading programs? How long does it take to find a decent program that is able to be installed?

I've never used Limewire myself. Not because I thought it was a bad program, but I just never needed it, so it's hard for me to comment on that particular program. If you want reliable program downloads, I suggest you try a bittorrent client such as BitComet.

ps- To answer your question, NO. It isn't to good to be true. If you want CS2 for example, just go download the full version from the Adobe website and then you can take the proper steps to "activate" it.

So how would one go about "activating" it?
