Microsoft seems to be heading for battles in several big arenas.
Blu-Ray is just hardware, it won't really matter all that much in Redmond which format wins.
Google, on the other hand, is prepared to go head to head with MS and ultimately offer a web-based OS...now that would get MS's attention.
