GrabIt, particularly if you're new.

See the excellent Guide (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/t69159.html) on setting it up and using it.

You only have 2 options. Use your ISP's one (if they have one), or pay for a premium server. If you fit the small percentage of people who have an ISP who care - congrats. If not, join the rest of us in paying for one. In fact I know many people who have one from their ISP but still prefer to pay for a premium server purely for the better retention.

In any case, if you do decide to pay - go with NewsHosting's Unlimited account. There's a banner at the top of the page for you to click on ;)

well that sucks. i guess unless you really want them, paying will seem the only way with a premium news server ;)

I just stick with ntl, it has most of the things I want.

I'm a newsleecher junkie myself. I dabbled in xnews, grabit, and newsbin, but I have to say my favorite is newsleecher. Also, there search function is top notch, when it's up you hardly ever need an nzb.

Do they only block groups that have the word dvd in them?
If so there are a lot of other groups where you can get your hands on dvd's.

boneless to name one.

Newsleecher for me too. Excellent program, very easy to use, and does exactly what it says on the tin. Can't complain. :)
