Simply put, how do you size yours? :shifty:

Would also like to see if there's been a trend since the last poll back in the Summer of '69 :P

1152*864.

BTW here's your proof that people use 800*600 still:

I use 1024*768. I switched from 800*600 about 3-4 months ago. The reason I didn't before is because I just assumed it wouldn't make a big difference(WOW, was I wrong on that!) and never really looked at anything else.
Yes Samurai, I'm sure alot of people who don't know better still use 800*600. Maybe not alot here, but in the general internet browsing crowd, a ton I'm sure.
Thanks for the link Rossco. Interesting to see some of the stats of the forum.
I tried going to 1280*1024 for a few minutes after seeing it's the 2nd most popular size. Way to damn small for me. No way. I also went back to 800*600 for the hell of it. I was like "wow, this is horrible. Everything's huge."

Dual LCD's 19" and 18" to make: 2560x1024.

Yea I use 1280 x 1024 personally, but I've noticed that most people (not on here mind) don't update the graphics card drivers and as such are not able to go any higher than 800 x 600 and they think theat's the best they can get.

I own a 17" TFT and without fresh drivers from ATI, it will only go up 1024 x 768.

Either there are really stupid people out there, or they're too lazy to change. It really does make a hell of a difference. If I was to go to 800 x 600 now, I would have my desktop filled up with icons in seconds.

Some people reckon anything more than 800x600 makes their eyes go bad, or gives them migraines.

Especially older people...

Edit: I know, a pretty poor effort - but pickings have been mighty slim recently.

Still not fully recovered after being rodded by both Barbie and Jonno in one day? :(

I've decided to completely quit the world of rodding after making Busy and Asda glag...

1280x1024 BTW.

Knew I could take it. Equate it to blowing up a suspect package at a train station....

I use 1024*768. Would use higher but only have 14'' TFT.
Of course there are people out there using 800*600. First because not everybody knows how to change screen resolution and even that it is possible. And second because there are still people who are using the old 14'' monitors, the ones with a tube inside. You really fu*k your eyes if you put something higher than 800*600 on that one.

1280x1024. I find 800x600 to be very difficult to work on.

1152 x 864 because 1024 x 768 just seems too big on my monitor and 1280 x 720 just seems too small.
