View Full Version : Alternative To Sig2dat, Ptrack And K-sig

I was told this by someone on the IRC.

1. Find your IP address. A good source for this is here (http://www.lawrencegoetz.com/programs/ipinfo/).

2. Visit http://youripaddress:1214
* substitute "youripaddress" for your IP address.
* http://localhost:1214 will NOT work.

3. Make sure a KaZaA Lite is connected. And select the file yo wish to share.

4. Right click the file, select "Copy Shortcut".

5. Done! People can click the link and they will download the file that you are sharing in KaZaA Lite. (Remember to keep it running).

sorry may be a bit thick here but i can not follow links as they bring me to a page not found error i can get my ip ok but what to do after this ?????/

can you explain a bit more or even post screen shots to show how.

Cool. It's sorta like acting as a server or FTP. I'll try it sooner or later.
