The BT Broadband Basic (UK) internet package has upped the monthly usage limit from 1GB to 2 GB for no extra charge, (still £17.99), effective from 15th October.



They don't seem to have advertised this fact very much, which is strange.

Anyway, I am pleased... ;)

2 gigs. Dude i do 2 gigs in a day if i wanna get something. Desnt UK have a very speedy access??

It should be like 60GB

Your capped at 2gb a month,thats crap mate,I'm on ntl at £25 a month don't appear to be any cap,think its meant to be 30gb but never had any hassle off em,that's their 2mb service

Blueyonder's packages are all uncapped.

Just signed up to Tesco.net's uncapped 512k service for £14.97pcm. Here's looking forward to the 20th when it's switched on. :D

i get 2mb uncapped for £17.99 a month, now thats value!

£17.99 for 2GB is expensive, and you are locked in for 12 months.

What's more, BT's email is crap. Try finding a proper ISP, ie one that knows what they are doing.

BT's email is crap.
I have used bt's email and webspace for ages and never had any problems.

2gb's accounts are designed for people who just check there email and view a few websites. it would be a waste of time for people around here.

UK-online do 1mb for £10 and 2mb for £15 uncapped, not in my area though :(
