Plug in prbs....plz help me!

Hey,
I dunno what's wrong, but when i try to play a media file or quicktime file or anything like that from internet, the damn thing doesn't work. NEVER!

I have windows media player and quicktime on my computer, then how come the media files won't work when i try to play 'em from the internet?

What am i missing here? plug ins? wat?

I use opera......plz advice.

Reinstall quicktime (I recommend the "Quicktime Alternative" package found here http://www.codecguide.com/download_qt.htm )
Tried updating Opera yet?
Let me know if the above doesn't work
