I always preferred to get homework done asap so that I could relax and do whatever for the rest of the weekend/evening.

I usually do tiny bits at a time through the week or whatever until it's due, then i do most of it the night before.

disregarding my own advice, I left my homework to the last night, it turned out crap. Although you can argue that it would have been crap either way :/
