you could go to lidl and buy loads of stuff for like 50p :unsure: they've got huge cartons of ice tea for just 79p, and 4 packs of german beer for like £2.19 <- not tried that yet, maybe next week :ermm:

gripper isn't just enjoying a longer life (admittedly not that much longer) but he's enjoying not stinking as much, and having a little extra cash for his other vices. That was the point of this thread actually.

smokers don't smell, do they?
both my parents have always smoked and my brother smokes. i don't notice the smell of smoke, so when i saw a TV antismoking advert with a message on a blackboard saying "mummy you don't smell bad now" i had to say bullshit out loud because that be what it is. :fist:

you were used to the smell.I moved to Los angelas for a few months then came back to the same home.I smelled my human smell for the first time...smelled humanee
Of course Gripper had better watch out for substituting alcohol and food for fags, otherwise he could swop one life threatening condition for another.....i.e obesity and alcoholism...

Maybe you're desensitised, they do smell.
If you go anywhere where smokers congregate, their home, pubs, a rawk concert, the smell sticks to your clothes, it's teh unpleasant.

I have a cunning plan,I have been exercising on my bike and walking faster everywhere.
Smokers do stink,I can now smell one from about twenty feet away if the winds in the right(or wrong) direction,further if they are actually smoking.
@Robs..41 is a lifetime away for you,but I have 2 young kids and I still want to be around to see there kids,so every little thing helps.
