View Full Version : Do mornings hate anyone else?

Blythorama

This morning I have, in this order, splattered toothpaste all over my work clothes, dropped a cup of coffee, stepped on one of those comedy paving stones which look solid but inject manky brown water up your leg when you step on them, rubbed tiger balm in my eye, and shut my fingers in the door.

Is the universe treating anyone else in this cruel manner, or is it just me?

Mornings tend to treat me with indifference. :snooty:

Sounds like you're a walking disaster area today though! :yikes:

I wasn't whining. I was questioning the intentions of the universe. :P

I probably could put a NiGHTS reference in there somewhere, but I've never played it

Well, I've got my eye on LIFE too. So next time it inflicts such a series of events upon my person, I'll hex it and make sure that IT has a shitty morning. It'll get up and stand on water in the bathroom in its socks and then Mrs Life will shout at it for no reason at all.

I will never give in, I will never surrender.

I didn't really feel like posting here til now, owing to me getting up without feeling that tired and having a pretty good day, maybe it's cause I haven't drunk, bombed or smoked anything mind altering since Saturday ... .

I generally only see about one hour of morning, and that's spent still half asleep so nothing particularly bad happens...ahh the joys of unemployment. I think I'll watch Balamory when I get up tomorrow.

I was, like, watching some Voyager last night, I'd watched this one episode a few times before but the asian astronaut guy was the actor who plays Jin (in Lost) he was speaking with an American accent - just like in last week's episode of Lost.

I was like 'whoa'.

They also have a rock star who is a heroin addict, an all-round good guy hero doctor, an asian bloke not big on his wife's freedom, a blonde from the 'valley' who says whatever a lot.

Well, let's look at it totally objectively ().

Hurley is a bit on the big side but is a funny bloke who seems like he'd be a laugh at the pub.

Busyman is a fat bloke (on the Atkins diet, dontcha know) and you'd probably end up apologising to your mates for bringing him along.

Speaking of which, a little while ago I ate two of the white chocolate Wonka bars when I returned from the pub. I don't remember how they tasted, initially, but they made cider spew taste alrite, like.

Post whenever. Mornings are foul at whatever time of the day. Either you are experiencing the morning in all its hideousness, or there is another morning looming, casting a shadow of fear and dread over all. The only time you are safe is at precisely 12 noon.
