Samsung announced today a 3GB mobile phone, the largest capacity released in the industry to date.
The SPH-V7900 can also function as an MP3 player or a device to carry your files from the computer
along with you.

The SPH-V7900 also has not one, but two camera, two screens, video playback, an MP3 player
and stereo speakers. In addition, it features an e-mail function and file viewer which supports
Microsoft Office, PDF documents, text and JPG images.

The battery gives 4.5 hours of talk and 200 hours standby. No battery drain figures are given
for functions using the hard drive but expect it to be significant. The phone has no price-tag,
no release date and is only theoretically available in Korea for now.

Is that really necessary?

I bought a phone with a camera and I have come to the conclusion that it’s useless. I’ve had the phone for a year now and maybe use the camera three times.

why buy that when there's gonna be a better one out something like the week after that will look and sound better and maybe even take human form, you may even know and have come to trust the prototype

*managed to fit two complete X-File episodes on my phone t'other day by converting them into 3gp format - they came to about 44MB each and there's like 90MB on my phone, they stutter a lot and the sound qualities a bit shit, but the pictures okish :ermm:

I use Nokia Multimedia Converter 2.0 - it's pretty good, you can select bit rate, WB AMR for sound - which is what I wanted to encode the x files in, but whenever I try to have WB AMR instead of just AMR, the file previews in 2.0, but doesn't actually play in Quicktime or anything, and just says failed to render and my phone software won't recognize it as a video even though my phone supports WB AMR - so you've got to use crappy AMR sound instead - at least that's true if using a D500, might work for whatever phone you have? there's probably other 3gp converters so there might be a better one out there :ermm:
