The Firefox Web browser has surpassed 100 million downloads just before celebrating its first birthday, the Mozilla Foundation says.....

BIG FUCKING DEAL..........

I've downloaded FF twice in the past and I've uninstalled it twice because it was buggy as fuck and sucked sweaty nut sack. I'm sure there are many more like me....

Nop, i think you are on your own skizo :P

Fire fox is much better than IE:
Faster!
Better GUI!
And with its updates the bugs that are left (to me at least) are negligible!
Firefox for ever! :D

Yup, gotta love Firefox. Works a dream for me, and can't see any reason to go back to the dark side.

Skizo, you are in a very small minority of those who share your feelings (I think there is ONE other user :P ).
Your problem was NOT with Firefox, but with your installation.
Give it another try.
Although, in the case of updating Firefox to the latest release you can install OVER your previous version, I suggest you UNINSTALL all Firefox versions you have now, do the normal Virus/Spyware scans, and install a fresh version of Firefox v1.0.7. (Click on the Firefox logo in my sig).
The unfortunate thing here is that if you do not install Firefox you may be left only with IE. :(

Downloads don't mean anything. I've downloaded firefox many times because I formatted.

FF is amazing, it works smooth and tabs are nice, but Opera is nice also.

Then you'll most likely die. Just think about how much can change with computers in the next 10 years. To get an idea, just look at what has happened in the past 10. Remember Windows 95A (OSR1) was in Feb 1996.

lol that was an operating system!
here we are talking about a Web Browser!
Since the year that IE was created Did it change anything? No, it has only upgraded and that just made it better...

Well lets assume that firefox will keep upgrading... what more can it change??
Maybe it will get faster... still is the old good firefox.. :D But it will only be upgraded...

Oh yeah and say that i will still using it it was just a saying.. who knows i may be dead since then :D

Ok then... Back in 95 what were you using? Firefox? I think not.

What are you using today? Firefox. I rest my case.

Who knows what will be good ten years from now or even if browsers will even be around. There may be something totally different. I suspect something totally mobile.
