There isn't anyhting wrong with Lidl. They have more rigorous food standards and a higher minimum quality level than all the "brand-name" supermarkets. Only Aldi has a better record than Lidl for actual quality (I'm serious). The food may be cheap but cheap is good when you are getting good quality. Cheap is bad when you choose to purchase horrible nasty nutritionally worthless own-brand food from the other supermarkets. Asda pasta is disgusting.

I'm no chav and I'm no pikey and I'm not afraid to hold my hands up and say, "As God is my witness, I shop at Lidl"

Christmas is coming. Look out for the super-tasty iced ginger biscuit/cake thingies.... mmmmm

lidl also have these jaffa cake imitation thingies which wub so hard! and they have all these strange never before heard of crisps ^_^

there isn't an Aldi in Lincoln, nearest ones Newark :ermm:

What, the paprika crisps in the massive bag??? Yum.
also, black forest ham with peppercorns, cheese colslaw for less than a quid. and a whole pepperami for two quid. Can't complain!

They also do cream doughnuts in the freezer section....:w00t:
