Yep, got a message from SS to update, hope everyone else got one too :)

Is it required to update from version 145?

I just ran it over 145, it works... :) Somehow the installer name is slsk145 but it is actually 146.
Maybe they forgot to rename the file.
It uninstalls old components before installing the new version.

Probably because you dont stay logged in as long as some of us....twice you have q'd up albums from me only to go offline straight away.Try staying logged in 24/7 like most of us hardcore SS users.. :)

then what could it be?? i really want to use soulseek the funny thing is kazaa lite build 2 wont connect but build 1 will and soulseek ever since I upgraded that too it didnt work somethings going on and i dont know what it is

I have to agree with RPerry,i bet there is something wrong with your PC settings as your having trouble with k-lite too.What are your specs?When was the last time you cleaned out your registry of unwanted clutter?

I use Norton System Works but its a bit big if all you need is a registry cleaner.Either search on google for a free registry cleaner or better still start a thread in Softwareworld to get recommendations from others who have used good free ones..

edit:i have used Registry First Aid in the past that i got from kazaa,so search for a sig for it here maybe..

You don't need to clean out anything. If you have a firewall then I suggest you make sure it's giving SS and the new kazaa access to the net. If not unininstall and retry..

That sounds more like the problem.
