I'm hopeless with cars :(

I know its not on your list but you can't go wrong with a Ford KA, recently voted the most reliable supermini.

And before anyone comments, no... its not a girlie car!

yes but they stoped making the 16v and williams a year or so after that so you will be hard pushed to get a new 1 ;)

tbh i would not tuch a new car if i had all the money in the world you lose so much on them its untrue, out of the cars u have listed id get the clio 2.0 16v 172 sport looks good very fast and lots of mods for it if your into that type of thing

Me like the 172 but out of those listed i'm sure it will be the highest to insure, although i know there all pretty high to insure for me

Quick, roomy, reliable, economical, insurance should be ok.

All new sporty(boy racing) drivers seem to be driving Citroen saxos these days.Must be something good about them, probably performance per £.

:D

How about a new corsa sxi? The insurance is pretty cheap, there a bit nippy of the block and they look the dogs danglies with tinted windows and rear lights. Theres quite a lot of kits out there for it in the modding scene so in time you can add all the cool twiddly bits.

Can I suggest not posting photographs with registrations showing, whether it is your own or not.

It's a very easy way to identify someone.

something like

might be a better idea.

A MOD might want to consider the earlier post and possibly change the picture.

Having been around the Car Trade for years, I might suggest the new MINI ( Go for the best one you can) as they're re-sale value is good and they will not depreciate as much as the previously mentioned autos. Hot hatches are for kids on council estates!! You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, the re-sale is difficult if heavily modified.

If I had £11,000 to spend I'd go for a second hand Impreza, Japanese version ( Derestricted!!). A superb car ( I had one for a bit ) and you won't look like a kid in one, unlike a hot hatch.

And remember a Technics/Alpine sticker won't make it look any better!! Hope you find the car you are after - Keep us informed. :)

But, if it's his 1st car could he afford the insurance?, with a Subaru import you are talking specialist car insurance.

Personally I would go for a Seat Ibiza Cupra

The new Mini is an excellent choice but I think you'd struggle to find one for your money. It's built by BMW, my mate just traded in his 320ti compact for one and he says the Mini is even better.

Hey thanks ppl some new ones there although an Impreza wow nice car BUT insurance for that would be way too high for me.

Corsa sxi? yeah i know about my g/f's sister got one nice motor AND free insurance at the mo thrown in so tempting

From BMW320ti compact to a Mini hmm... well praise indeed! and the Ibiza Cupra, yeah forgot about that one looks nice, good reviews but a bit pricey i think.

2003 Honda Civic Sedan? W T F!!...NEXT :D :D
