I use to work for Royal mail "7 years", and the stuff that got damaged was well bad, Playing football with a parcel was a daily thing for some, the boss was shit & I was glad to be out of it. you shoud get some sort of refund, but the way things are with Royal mail just of late, it's not looking good.

Excessive use of the word "lol" shows an over-powering desire to be liked, to be matey. I find it difficult to trust anyone who over-lols, I suspect duplicitousness.

Jonno, Baz, Linkin Park and cpt-asda are all lolers, indeed, the only lolers I've noticed on this board.

Make what you will of that, I merely provide unbiased information which can be interpreted in many ways.

The above post contains 25 "words", 3 of which are lol.

This gives us a 12% lol level, which is quite frankly preposterous.

To say nothing of the inappropriateness of their placement. To start a sentence with "lol, it was the package he had lol ..." goes beyond the pale. Unless of course you are a 13 year old girl.

Grow up man, smell the coffee.

As a postman I find this thread offensive,we do a hard job in all weather's,with little or no appreciation.
People send the most stupid things in the mail and moan like hell if we don't leave it.
Most of them give you grief if you should wake them up at 7.00a.m with their parcels,we can't win!!!

I worked for Royal Mail for 7 years, the first six was great, I loved my Job, but then the temps came into force, that was the killing of Royal mail in my eyes, They did not wan't to work, it was just a game that the full time postman payed for, meaning picking up the pieces.
Customer relations was very important to me, in all the years i worked for Royal Mail I had zero complaints.
I have no regrets of leaving, Glad to get out of it
