Hey... it's added an hour this time. Should I fix my dst everytime I come to this board?

Is there any way of being able to display the user's local time when you view their profile?

I think that'd be kind of interesting...

Is that probably interesting or probably can be done?

It cna probably be done, i will look into that later.

Just have to see if there is a function for displaying time using a certain time zone rather than it using the user's selection.

While you are looking at that, can you see if there's a way to change the date format to the members choice.

This silly month-day-year format is really confusing.

Yup.

Interesting to know why American's (and many other countries for that matter) go that way? Does anyone know?

Over in the UK, it's normally Day, Month, Year <smallest to largest>

I'm puzzled by how other countries came about their Month, Day, Year format

Month day year makes more sense to me...
Like November 9, 2005. Not 9 November, 2005.

Of course it does. We've grown up in the ways that we've been taught at school.

But what makes more sense...

Thursday 10th November 2005
or
Thursday November 10th 2005

?

What being taught in England, is being taught in Malaysia.

That's crackers and you know it. Americophile

Logically the units should go in order of small to medium to large... i.e. dd/mm/yyyy.
