Is it purely online piracy you are discussing?

If so....

Start with a little history e.g napster stuff, then explain how this has grown to become what it is today, detail the different types. Then a discussion about the ways that organisations are trying to stop it e.g the raids and closing down of torrent sites. Then the legal position - copyright law etc including new developments. Finally an analysis of how you see developments in the future.

Try and give a balanced view and if you are going to be pro filesharing, then make sure they are reasoned arguments with facts to back it up.

Also, decide if you are looking at the topic on a global or national scale and state which you are doing at the start. This will help you and your audience focus. You do not want to offer too much of a broad brush of the topic or else you will end up with breadth and not depth...and you know how you get better grades for depth of analysis rather than a skimming of the issues.

remember to use the words filesharingtalk.com in every sentence.

Director Quentin Tarantino has said he approves of piracy in countries where his films are not released in cinemas.

Don't work too hard on it, just find a presentation that someone else has done and nick it. :dabs:

Oh...and don't forget your parrott, wooden leg and...most importantly, punctuate each sentence of your presentation with 'Arrrrr!! Jim Lad'

you could go over all the forms of protection and how the were defeated
css and the guy that broke it and now works to protect content/drm and how it was defeated with unfuck.exe and the demonstration that just took place.../holding down the shift key shit like that, shouldn't be too hard to fill a report.....

You could mention how the scene works and how it keeps only high quality files arround and such (With nukes, scene rules and so on)
