whenever i click single player itgives me an error HELPP pleasee

do not click singleplayer...once you see the menu with singleplayer and all that bring down the console...

there are 3 maps...not completley finished, but the game is awesome..whatever you see for downloads for tweaks for doom3 alpha dont download them , none of them really do anything and are just peoples configs, alot of them have viruses also.

when i try to run the alpha of doom3 all i get is a flickering grey screen. i have deleted the doomconfig file as instructed and have tried editing out the last line in the runact.cfg file as some sites have been advising. has anyone else been having this problem or could anyone help me please?

the consol dont come down

no, i can't get the console to come down at all. i've left it to "load" for 10 minutes and it just doesn't want to play. i've tried 3 different versions of the original rar archive now and none work :(

Alright .. your instructions are 100% correct .. BUT .. you are missing one thing .. you guys need the Doom3 performance fix which will activate the console so it can actually be used. Sadly I just deleted the file a couple weeks back but logged the filename in dcclog.log and here it is...

I'd get the file again but am currently testing to see if I can stay of irc for a week so worst case in a weeks time if it isn't found let me know
