yeah, not supporting firefox is pretty gay, but the game is pretty fun if u like the 8-bit nintendo days. i just started it last nite and played 4 about 4 hours. made it to the next island and am currently on lvl 9. no gamepad support is gay and just not used to using ONLY the keyboard, but all-in-all game is pretty damn fun!

this can be a bit of a resource hog (8%cpu). it rawks for games that don't use control pads though. i had a ps2 pad plugged pretty much directly into the printer port on my PC and coupled with a driver (forgotten the name) i could practically use my PC as a console.

i set the right stick as mouse and left as WSAD/up-down-left-right, switched using a "shift button" for different games. rawks for GTA and takes some getting used to for CoD as it takes quite a bit of tweaking and getting used to as mouse controls are more responsive than a control stick

i have ie view. this is ie tab. there's a difference? even with ie view u need to view maple story site with ie.

IE tab opens pages in new tabs running the IE engine but inside your mozilla window. it also has the option to force sites to load in the IE engine. for example if i go to IGN.com or click the link for this game it loads in IE automatically. the only difference i notice is a little icon in the bottom right corner

oh shiznit i was an original beta tester for this game
it got boring trying to lvl to get off the first island but after that it was okay then it was boring again at like lvl 25

Ok I figured out that my FireFox was working because it was blocking scripts from http://www.mapleglobal.com. Ne ways, how did u get that to work for ur FF, GepperRankins? I also have IE Tab and it says I need an additional plugin. :frusty:

you need to go to the website. (getfirefox.com or something) and download firefox 1.5 beta. you might lose a few of your extensions though :dabs:

patched yesterday to .12.

patch is turkeys running all around in the serv. dropping rare items and what not. they don't give u exp and they thin out the regular monsters to fight which sux. i need to lvl up. the rare items are nice though. have fun!

edit: found some great secret places to lvl up!

everyone usually has this problem. disconnect and reconnect. the 2nd time it took me like 10 secs to get it.

i have actually downloaded this multiple times and always recieved speeds 200+. Maybe their doin something with their serversor you can just google it and im sure youll find another place to get it.;)

It's ok but I prefer Dofus (http://www.dofus.com/) though.
It's "free" with some restrictions and not the whole map is available but still a lot of fun.

It's in Flash and at least this you can play in fll screen,which you can't with Ragnarok.

I've been playing it now for a couple of days and i like it.

delorean i suggest puttin your game settings on very low thats what i did anyway. By the way i go trid of my level and 80 and now have a level 83 bandit. By the way their both on scania. Also if you must knw i wasnt the one to do any of the leveling on either accounts.

also to make firfox work go and disable eith javascript or java in your option maybe even disable both im not sure.

erm somewhere in ur options its like at the bottom right corner there should be something that brings up a bunch of tabs and check through there and you will see picture quality or something put that on very low and the game plays much smoother on old computers.

The problem is not performance but a message that says(after it kicks me off the game)
"Couldn't connect to the game server"
Btw i changed the settings but still the problem persists...

I started a month ago have a lvl 32 cleric, at this point its so boring because I cant do party quests for awhile. Honestly this game doesn't offer much and gets so repetitive.

Does anyone know how to level faster or any good training spots?

lol, once i made it to lvl 27 with my warrior i quit. haven't played this game in a long time. the game was fun for a good 2 weeks then it just drags and like said be4 gets really repetitive. :( had to let this one go.

I have a level 83 dragon knight and a level 80 firemage.

I dont even play this game much i hack it and leave it botting at night and when im at school. Its kinda fun when your high level. Though the games is really garbage if you play it legitly because its super repetitive and it takes forever to level (8-10+ hours).

so, i started to play this game over again. so far i've managed to create the "perfect" characters. i've got my warrior where i want him @ lvl 15 and now it's time to get my magician up to par. what i mean by "perfect" is for instance i have ONLY 4 in int and luck for my warrior and have put the appropriate skill points in the correct skillz to max my hp at the beginning. whew, should be easier to lvl up now! they updated/patched this game up quite well since the last time i've played it and now they've made it a little more easier as well. go me a nice lounge chair for an easy 50+ gain every 10 secs instead of using skill points to up that! good times! lol, oh, and now u can get married! if ur into that...

i'm truly digging this game again (for the 6th time) in WS. i really think this game is optimized to run in WS. it looks very good! working on 2 characters as of now. got my warrior to lvl 21 and my mage to lvl 23. good times.

they've finally gotten rid of all the xmas stuff. cool, kinda. now i can drop some of this shit in my inventory to make some room.

new patch came out last nite. whew, 4 hour patch! w0w. including a new area on victory island! coolness! also, added fedex type support now which is kinda cool. mail off something to someone. nice touch. {I}{K}{E}, u still playing? how far are u?
