Mine and the BF's combined mobile phone bill for last month was £350!!!!!! The overwhelming majority of calls were to each other. :blushing:

(Really must get a better tarriff!)

Anyone else have stupidly huge phone bills?

I've been paying £60line rental alone on my mobile (O2) for the last 14 months. Thing is I split up with my exlast year and she was the only one I really used my minutes on. I'm cancelling ASAP.

I am on O2 pay as you go, and I top up about twice a year (I'm not much of a talker!)

Mrs Barbarossa is paying something like £19 a month on O2, of which she doesn't use up all her allowance, but it does give her free upgrades every year...

...Which means I too get free upgrades every year! :01: Just one year behind everyone else...

Ooooch! My scottish ancestry doth wince.

I think one of the service providers does a package where you have two phones and two numbers, but they are on the same account and calls between them are free. I can't remember which one it is though.

Methinks a bit of phone-discipline is needed mayhaps?

@ Blythorama.....that's just what we need so if you could try and remember......please.

@ Guilllaume....I don't have a flat I have a house. :snooty:

@ Barbarrossa....Living together don't help much, he is on the road, I have autonomy at work....and we just chat all day.

I know, I know....its bad. It's not much less than my mortgage ffs!!!!

If you get a TalkTalk landline, you can get unlimited free calls to your TalkTalk mobile (not sure if this is any use... )

Talk Talk (http://www.talktalk.co.uk/talktalk/servlet/gben-server-PageServer?ARTICLE=MAIN.UK.TALKTALK.MOBILE.HOME.INDEX.HOMEPAGE&NODE_ID=8484)

EDIT: Hmm, you can have up to 3 sim cards per landline account, but calls between the mobiles are 15p a minute... It's only when you call from mobile to home or vice versa that it's free... :(

I don't know if it's available for you Sara, but the plan I've got basically gives you free calling between two people. It's got some wacky name (BetweenUs Calling or somesuch), but it's generically a couple's plan. You get two phones, two numbers, unlimited calling between the two. Mine also has free evenings/weekends and other stuff I don't use (like text messaging or video sending and on and on and on. I need to cancel that).

I've PMed you about this. I'll also have a word with me chav mate who works in carphone warehouse for you. I know you can put two handsets on the same account with vodaphone. I think you get reduced line rental with the second number and reduced rates between them but not free.

Cancel the contract with a company that would send you such a bill. Get a plan with another provider that better meets your needs.
