I hate their guts they shoudl all die I have to ignore the phone now cant go a day without the idiots anoying me and when you say no i dont want it they carring on ask questions why???

I am tired of being nice to them :angry:

@Adster. Think of it this way... If you say "no" and they continue their sell then they are being rude to you. Not listening to you. Do the same to them. Don't wait for an answer from them, just hang up.

Even better, when they call, you'll notice that there is a moment of silence after you say hello. The reason is that they use an automatic dialer and only pick up the line after it's answered. Use that moment of silence to your advantage. Before they come on the line, block the mouthpiece and just listen. They will be getting the same silence back. In fact it's sometimes quite comical to hear their reaction. :lol:

actuly VB lol ive been doing that a lot hanging up when I hear that silence now that you mentioned it hahaha but they stil dont give up happens 4 times a day at least

telesales are not the same as sales representatives. My BF is a rep, drives about 2000 miles a week, and sells into shops, doesn't phone people to sell them stuff and has to develop a good relationship with the annoying thick bastards that run the average Spar.

Telesales people are those annoying little tits that phone constantly and just repeat a script at ya...

Just thought you should know the distinction.

Just thought you should know the distinction.Cheese works in the Spar and the people who run my local Spar are thoroughly decent chaps.

Sales reps, en revanche, are mercenary gits and a complete pain in the arse for those of us who do happen to run a business :)

thats true, we get phone calls where they pronounce my last name correctly. :unsure: then I always think its my parents' friend so I ask who is it, then they say their the telesales people then I hang up.
