fighting games suck.. [Archive]

alright, i've tried to get into fighting games before, but they just suck! Why? because they are fucking button mashers... and its very repetitive... what do you all think?

i played mk: deception, and tekken 5, and well i just couldnt get into them. lucky for me i have a modchip, so i dont need to blow my hard earned cash on these pos..

I love MK, tekken pissed me off once, i couldnt beat that old guy wit the crazy hair and I just got pissed off at it.

I don't like fighting games... you'll take the time to learn the combos, practice, and play skillfully... then you'll play against a 12 year old kid, who will button mash his way to victory. :pinch:

I agree that they are button mashers most of the time, but that makes them good to relieve stress when you need to :)

I hate them too, i always thoughtit was relaly stupid to learn the special moves like have to press up-down-right-left-left-y-x-z-a-b-down-down-up-1+2 to punch a guy. :dry:

I became impossibly complicated at that point.

I think the latest one is Street Fighter X Alpha 4 Prime second edition reloaded ZTG vs Capcom 3 Fx bis :blink:

Yeah I think eddy and gun jack were the easyest to play in tekken 3 because most of their buttons were R1,R2, and L1,L2 with one of the triangle,circle,square,and X buttons :cool:

I think the hardest person I've ever played was the boss in Tekken 5 :dry::censored: God that bitch with the goustly wolf behind her,Can you beleave that it took me 7 retrys just to beat the friggin Bitch :crazy:this is why I don't play tekken 5 any more I stick with number 3 I can kick every ones ass any day :boxing:

With all the Tekken games, I set it to 1 round so I can't beat the game quickly with all the characters to gain the extras.

My favorite player is Baek or Hwoarang (now).

I know all the multi string combos for a number of fighters...well maybe not anymore but I used to.

I'll refresh one day.
