Feck, wish I'd gone to the pub to see it now. Thought it would be a boring 0-0 fo' sho'.

Awesome display of football, how can it be so different from the Denmark game last month.

Prediction: according to the UK press, England will now win WC2005 at a canter.

It was great  Crouch tried to take Owen down, oh the hilarity.

Who says the lanky twit is useless? He's a comedy genius.

England were more confident going forward, the attacks were all positive. But defensively the side looked really frail, Rio Ferdinand seemed a bit lethargic to me. Definitely not World Cup winning, in my opinion.

I thnk they did ok, that game saved eriksson's career and Tim Crouch should play football(american)

I thnk they did ok, that game saved eriksson's career and Tim Crouch should play football(american) :dry:After having qualified for the World Cup and being virtually assured as one of the top eight seeds, I really don't think Eriksson was in danger of having his soccer career prematurely curtailed if England lost a friendly.

You might be right about Tim Crouch tho' as I've never heard of the chap.

Fantastic game! Really exciting. :01:

I agree Ferdinand didn't seem very sure of himself, but the defence was always going to struggle with two relatively inexperienced fullbacks. Robinson is a class goalie though.

I still think there's a problem with playing both Gerrard and Lampard in the same team, but it's something they're going to have to work on because you just can't choose between them.

Eh?
What did I say?

Tim Crouch ain't 'alf as good as PETER Crouch(aka Rodney, or Dave, for fools & horses fans!).

Crouch on the bench=England 2-1 down
Crouch on the pitch=England win 3-2

Where do you want Crouch?

At home on the sofa, watching Jermaine Defoe on the tele.
