Hi! This is my First post here
Now....This is the problem
845GVSR mb's bios was flashed from the update from intel successfully. But after that(probably) all the usb port(4nos) were not working at all!
After flashing, the usb mouse wasnt working.Supposing that the the modem might be in fault, it was replaced with a ps/2 mouse.
Later on when the printer connected to the usb port was turned on, the system didnt recognize it at all. No documents were send to the printer as it showed that the printer was missing. So supposing that the usb cablewire/printer might be the problem, both were physically checked and checked with another system. They were working fine. SO it was concuded that the port/driver might be the problem. when the 4ports were checked ,none responded. in sysproperties, no USB Device specification was found. Supossing that the os might have some problem, the bios was checked. But in the BIOS nothing was seen inside USB option. It was blank. Is there any way to correct this? is this some physical damage? is there any alternate way to connected the usb port outlet in the mb?
Awaiting reply....
