i updated path of neo, and now the game wont run.

it keeps detecting the virtual drive, evan when i have it hidden...wtf?

If you are using the brand spankin' new daemon tools, it seems the hiders don't work too well with.

I personally use Alcohol 120% and SR7.Stop and have no problems with that game.

I've tried both Daemon & Alcohol...I thought is was the patch...I dunno, I'm tired I'll look in to it in the morning...errr...evening

i got the proper clonecd by mirror. every time i start it (mount mds, start sr7stop, click shortcut), my computer freezes! i tried antiblaxx, and it freezes too! wtf??

also, is it a game worth playing? a lot of people say it sucks

EDIT: i fixed the freeze problem. i just needed to mount with daemon instead of alcohol 120.
now it says "'a required security module cannot be activated"
i tried setting the compatibility to windows 2000, but it's still there. wtf?

I beat it, it is ok... better than Enter the Matrix... it took me about ten hours (off and on play) to finish it. I played the xbox version, so I don't know what to do about your problem.

i tried sr7. here's wat i did:
1. mount using daemon 347 with all the emulations enabled
2. run sr7. hide all drives
3. set the exe to run in windows 2000
4. i get the "a required security module cannot be activated"

next, with antiblaxx:
1. set antiblaxx to use daemon, and to mound the mds. also set it to hide, instead of delete
2. run the exe to run in windows 2000
3. run game
4. get "a required security module cannot be activated"

ok, apparently the "a required security module cannot be activated" only occurs after u apply the patch. it works fine now, but it's extremely buggy. sigh

The reason its so bad is because it's so buggy. You should find a way to get the patch working. :frusty:

yea, i looked in the options, and one of them is this display quality setting. it's default is set to 5. i set it to 10, and the whole game's seriously messed up. i set the quality to 3, and it works fine. the game looks pretty shitty though

i got the game working with the patch, theres a mini-image out that works, i played through and beat it last week...

ok. finally got it 2 work. daemon tools 4.0 has this enable secrities feature that the old 1 didn't. now i'm using dtools 4 and it works!! :w00t:

btw the game looks crappy even w/ highest display settings. sigh

here's how i got it 2 work:
1. install patch
2. get daemon tool 4.0. alcohol 120 doesn't work, neither does older versions of daemon
3. enable securom in daemon. go to options and make sure all the 4 options are checked
3. use sr7.stop or sfnightmare. for sfnightmare, disable CD and node
4. run the game. if it doesn't work, run as windows 2000

ok, i'm having the same problem again. i uninstalled antiblaxx. now when i use daemon 4.0 with sr7stop, 1st off daemon tools doesn't show up in sr7stop, and when i run the game, i get the security can't be activated thing again. wtf!!?!?!?

abu i can relate to your frustration...! I'm having exactly the same problems, only i still cant get it to work - am using DT4 and sr7stop OR antiblaxx, but neither ways work...
Have got win2000 compatibility on, and sr7stop wont even recognise there is anything to hide!
Help! Should i just reinstall matrix again, or is the update worth it (for those who have updated and actually got it working)?

u need the update. u seriously can't play the game unless u update. try this thing called antiblah

run the EN one, and then, set ur thing to run in windows 2000. it works for me.


btw, i just beat the game. it's ok to blow off some time. not a great game

ahh...thanks abu - i mistakenly thought anti-blaxx and anti-blah were the same thing...didnt realise there was another program (anti-blah) to hide DT...
So its all good now, just fighting smith for the first time in the subway now :)

same thing happend to me and it just goes the screen just goes blank but i can still hear all the sounds
