Have you read any,do you consider them a serious read or not?
Batman:The Dark Knight Returns is a favourite,The Watchmen and The Books of Magic are good reads. They're definitly not for kids.

Graphic novels? I don't understand why they invented that term. Were they afraid someone might call them geeks or what?
They're comics FFS.

The only comics I but any more are GN's or TPB's. For the monthlys I just download.

Currently reading the Preacher series for about the 100th time this year.

Batman: The Killing Joke is probably too obvious to be worth mentioning.

i have a big colelction of various comics. Mainly due to a friend who wants me to download them. I get a list and i download if i have badnwidth to spare. I've read som batman stuff but they dont stick in my head, so i cant remember what happened in each graphic novel. But i have read the whole of Preacher which is amazing! I so wanna buy the hard copies.

Neil Gaiman's Sandman is probably the only one I've read in a while.

If the subject is serious, it's a serious read.

Only someone too narrowminded, or too much of a sheep to try anything not considered mainstream could state otherwise.

Can't imagine that someone who'd actually read it would say that something like Y - the Last man wasn't serious.

@Maebach, there's only 6 something million something buddhists in India atm.

Watchman was good, Scary toasters, anything by Meobus, Michael Moorcock, Richard Corben, Bode, Bernie Wrightson, Matt Howarth or the rest of the old Heavy Metal artists

No India as we know it, either, so that doesn't fly. Lots of Maharadjahs and small kingdoms, I think.

He was the prince of some small tribe, on the Nepal-side of what is the Nepal/india-border today.
