Microsoft Ftp

i was wondering if anyone knew the ftp address for microsoft so i could dl sp1 from their ftp rather than over internet. i'm on dialup and the isp i use has a limit on their accounts so they cut out after two hours. i've tried to dl sp1 a few times and i keep getting cut off near the end. if i could get the ftp address i could get the sp1 without any problems.

i dont know where the addres is but just wondering if u used download accelerator cuz it can resume most downloads

i can't use a download accelerator if i get sp1 straight from windows update. i could use one if i got the full pack from download.com or something, but the full download is 134 meg. i only need about 35 or so meg, it'd waste a lot of time getting 100 meg more than i need, especially on dialup

have a look round the microsoft site they sent me sp1 on cd for free even though i got my copy from the back of a lorry.

nice of microsoft to send it free for me, didn't even have to pay postage and packing :lol:
