As far as I know you need to create a new dos partition first in fdisk. Then you install the os to that partition
I don't know anymore becuase I have never tried this:

First, get rid of Windows me. My God that is a bad start. I suggest using Windows 98 SE, if you need that to rin certain programs.
Get XP instead of Win2K too. XP is so much better.
Here is why I say use Win98 and XP. If you install Win98 on one partion(or hard drive), then install XP on the other partion(or hard drive), you will automatically get a choice of Win98 or XP before the computer completely boots.

It's easier with partition magic 8 . :)
It has a wizard to install the new operating system

By the way won't you get the choice with Win ME as well as 98se?

YES, generic terminology for all win9x systems. Partition magic 8 has major bugs. Use it at your own risk! [/QUOTE]
Hey your scareing me man :o
I'm using it with Win ME :(
I just used it a while back to make another partition and I did'nt (and still don't) have any problems.
As a matter of fact it worked like a charm.
What really scares me is I'm running win me .
This comp runs xp a little on the slow side.
