This might be silly or a impossible request. But here goes. I currently use Nero 6.6x. I have atm only a cdrw. I'd like burning software that does everything Nero does but is less system resource intensive & a smaller download. Nero 6.6x is around 33MB. Not Roxio either please.
I've already tried & not been satisfied with: ImgBurn, DeepBurner Free & Pro, Sateira CD&DVD Burner, CDBurnerXP Pro, Honestech Fireman CD/DVD Burner 2.0.
Personal positive experience with a burning program only please. No, I heard or found this program, sounds good. Thanks.
I might update with a winner or post more imo loser programs.

Yeah you are going to have a pretty hard time finding a burning software that only burns to CD-R media, because ever since DVD-/+RW drives were invented, all software companies want to be the first one to cover the new technology, it would be economic suicide to not, because the majority of people dont want old technology, so that is what they do, follow the market. But the previous post told you to go to oldversion.com which would be probably your best bet.

skelley521, lol. Same here but I'm happy so far.

I'm trying Prassi ONES v2.0.300 Full Retail right now. For my basic needs good so far. Unlike the 5-6 others I tried, they all sucked!
ONES is a unique first class DVD/CD burning application for the Microsoft
Windows System. ONES stands out from the crowd in implementing innovative recording technology with a unique Fuzzy Logic approach. It’s a totally driver-less application that will not require new versions to manage most of the new CD and DVD recording drives that are coming to the market. Burn easily DVD Video, DVD ROM, Audio CD, CD Rom, CD Extra, Video CD and much more...
