Stumbled across this and I had to LoL. Could this guy possibly be any more anal about genre chracterization. Of course the OP's list is techno. Techno has many styles in it the same as Jazz, Alternative, or any other genre of music.

Yes, while techno is the "genre" characterization, some of that music is vocal, trance, house, euro. Just like in "classical" music there are many different styles. There's Boroque, Classical style (Mozart, etc.), Romantic, and 20th Century (like Prokofiev, Rachmaninov). So, Global Jihad is right in his classification....Silly people and their dictionaries.
