Gee I've only heard of one of these songs above - Billy Joel. Gee I hate Billy Joel.

For me its usually one of the last songs that I have heard.

X Japan - Art Of Life (Live) [34:08 min.]

Though the song is very long it's so addictive.I always enjoy listening to it.
I have "shuffle" turned on in Winamp and every time it starts to play Art Of Life I can't resist and have to listen to it 'till the end, even though it takes half an hour. But I'd never skip that song.

The first few lines of Art Of Life:
Desert Rose
Why do you live alone
If you are sad
I'll make you leave this life ...

Kinda pop tastic but the band Orson with their debut single No Tomorrow, is just dripping in musical goodness. I thought I would be sick of it, but after 3 weeks i'm still loving it :)

Without a doubt: Mazzy Star - Fade into you.

You can wake me up on a bad sunday morning, I could be hungover, in convulsions laying in a puddle of vomit. Play me that song and i'm ready for sex :D

Heck, it'll probably end up being my wedding dance song.

Oh man, this is a harsh one, my picks (sorry I can't pick just one :( ) are:

Blackened - Metallica
And Justice for All - Metallica
One - Metallica
Master of Puppets - Metallica
Battery - Metallica
Seek and Destroy - Metallica
Fight for your right to party - Beastie Boys
Phantom of the Opera - Iron Maiden
BYOB - SoaD
The Heretic Anthem - Slipknot
The entire self titled album - Slipknot
The entire Volume 3 album (especially Prelude 3.0+Before I Forget+The Blister Exists) - Slipknot

Lot of songs lol :P

But if I honestly had to choose one (and this next sentence contradicts the previous one):

The entire Volume 3: Subliminal Versus cd, enough said, this is a musical masterpiece.

Too much to name

But a shortlist:

Stones - Angie (same goes for the acoustic cover from the Stereophonics, it almost beats the original!)
Kilowats ft Vanek - Lies (It has something magnetic....)
Pink Floyd - the entire 'Wish you where here' album
Van Morisson's Moondance
Animals - house of the rising Sun

OOOooo I found a new one :D :

Annihilation by the hands of God - Roadrunner United

Some of the sweetest drumming I've ever heard.

But Prelude 3.0 by Slipknot is still for me by far the most addicting off of Volume 3:TSV.

Yah, although I listen to everything except rap, I have to say classical music is more exciting. There's more variations, dynamics, etc. whereas punk/rock sounds the same throughout the entire song.

Plus, these classical pieces have survived for hundreds of years, do you really think kids 300 years from now on are going to listen to a shitty band like Slipknot? (I used to like them, but they suck now. Except for Joey, his drumming's pretty good).

Agreed (on the 300 years things and rap thing), diagreed on the slipknot sucks part lol, although they could get rid of 3 members....and yes, joey kicks ass.

Know of any good compilations that I could check out? Well not compliations, can't think of the word right now, but I mean full albums of classical music.

"Reflection"-TOOL. I love how Danny Carey goes up the toms instead of down them. And the fact he does it for 11 minutes straight.
