I love to listen to music while i do my uni work but often find i spend more time listening to the music or constantly getting distracted by it rather then working. the only music i have found i can listen to and work to is jack johnson.

anyone else have the same problem or can recommend something else to help me work to?

I listen to music while I draw, it really gets the creative juices flowing...

Thats the reason why i flunked out of university. I had 10, 000+ songs that i concentrated on....rather than my uni assignments. I swear i sometimes wrote lyrics in the middle of my assignments.

most music with no lyrics works for me.

eg jazz, slow/rather quiet electronic music, classic music.

Yes,

Music with no singing is the best to work to If you need to concentrate.
