So Chavez has been elected back into office. His party has also taken a two thirds majority in parliment.

What are one of the first things they plan to do now? Remove the current constitutional limit of two presidential terms in office as well as removing limits on parliment terms.

This is an interesting move. He has already admitted that he is a major Castro admirer, and is anti-globalist.

Is this a good thing for a man who blames the US for low voter turnout (only 25% of eliglable voters voted)? A man who apparently listens to evanglists for the current happening of foreign governments and their plans.

What do you think is in the future for the man?

He presents as the Anti-Bush.

Perhaps he could be persuaded to take up the Democratic nomination for President in '08.

I mean, why vote for a faux Communist like Hillary when you can have a real one?:)

The election was made somewhat easier for him by the opposition refusing to participate ... will the opposition have regrets like some in the Sunni community in Iraq or will it turn to violence like Iraq?

Violent opposition to Chavez?

So unlikely as to be an interesting prospect...

I thought the President was proposing to issue free passes to them all anyway?

No, no, no. That's Fox, the guy who wants a wide open border with the US, but who refuses to even humour the thought of opening HIS southern border.
